Welcome! My name is Haley, I am a portrait photographer and maker of simple films in the Upstate of South Carolina.

I fell in love with photography at the ripe age of 11, and haven’t stopped creating since. Throughout the years, I have ventured through nearly every style and genre of photography, so I feel equipped to photograph almost anything. However, I am deeply drawn to photos that carry themes of intimacy, vulnerability, and connection.

I have recently found myself infatuated with capturing people in the nude. It began with a self portrait journey, through which I discovered so many festering insecurities that were hindering my self love and acceptance. Over the course of a year, I began to photograph myself in more and more revealing ways, in an attempt to find beauty in a vessel I had greatly lost touch with. If you don’t already know, I have 4 beautiful children. Through the process of bringing them each earthside, my body went through many tremendous changes that left me feeling alien to myself.

In 2023, I began taking self portraits that slowly helped me reconnect to my body again. As time went on, the healing began to run even deeper, and as my acceptance for my outer shell began to grow, my understanding of my own depths did too. I had built a sense of safety in myself that I’d never known before. And through that, some of my very best art began to emerge.

Now, I carry the seed of self love and compassion into my work with clients, in hopes of introducing you to the same safe haven I had stumbled into. Even in my family or couple sessions, I aim to capture the rawness and reality of the moments between people who love one another. I want my sessions to be powerful in your personal journey, and help you change the lens through which you see yourself if that’s what you need. I love photographing people who are deeply committed to knowing and loving themselves proudly and without shame.

A little more about me: I’m a touch atheist, a pinch of pagan, and always approaching spirituality with an open mind. I love hiking, reading fantasy, discussing philosophy, cats (we have 5), and writing poetry. I’ve had 2 hospital births, and two free births at home! Gardening is my therapy. My family and my friends are the most important thing to me in the entire world, and they are the reason I show up every day trying to better myself.

Thank you for being here, I hope to create with you soon!
